We were planning for our daughter’s second birthday party and we decided to do a pool party for her at our house. We decided to have a mermaid theme for her. Everything was planned, however the big challenge was the cake. We wanted it to look good and at the same time taste good too. Plus it had to be vegetarian with no eggs as most of our guest don’t eat cake with eggs in it.
I’ve a friend whose hobby is to bake cakes. When I asked her to do something with our theme she was hesitant coz she just bakes simple cakes. But I tried to encourage her and gave her ideas. The final product is in front of you. It was 2 layered vanilla and chocolate and it was not only good to look at but tasted awesome. Each and everyone of the guest including kids relished it.
